While the minimum number of words required to check your content for AI and plagiarism is only 60 words, we recommend at least 100 words minimum for a content scan. The more words you input, the more accurate the content scan will be.
Turnitin.com is an AI and plagiarism detection tool universally used by educators. SmartStudi has a built-in Turnitin simulator which runs your paraphrased text through before returning it to you. The more text you input, the better the quality of the paraphrased output and the more accurate the Turnitin score will be.
As educators are aware that AI and plagiarism scores aren’t 100% accurate, they typically won’t flag a student for AI with a score below 10%.
In the Paraphrase Content feature, the paraphraser works best when you input your content by paragraphs as opposed to putting everything in one textbox. Click “Add Paragraph” to add another paragraph textbox. The more text you input, the longer it may take to paraphrase.
In the Generate Essay feature, the more detailed your prompt, the more detailed your essay outline will be and the more detailed the essay paragraphs will be. When on the Final Essay section, if you are to edit the “Unparaphrased Essay” textbox, make sure that everything is separated by paragraphs of at least 60 words.
SmartStudi is meant to help students avoid having their work being wrongfully detected as AI by educators and to give students inspiration for their own original content. SmartStudi is not meant for cheating!
